A trip down memory lane... We know the 1960s and 1970s are the best times in rock n’ roll history. Back then, Waukegan was hip and the place to be; home to the teen rock ‘n roll club owned by a Chicago DJ named Dex Card called the “Wild Goose”. At the Goose, as we referred to it, we could hang out, listen, and dance to those tunes being played by local and some famous bands such as The Buckinghams, Cryin' Shames, American Breed, REO Speedwagon, and New Colony Six among others, The Goose in Waukegan was located inside the old Belvidere Lanes Bowling Alley on the corner of Lewis Avenue and Belvidere Road. Can ya dig it!
